Thank you to the Year 5/6 teaching team at St Brendan's School as well as Fr Shymon and Dierdre Fennessey from the Westernport Parish for their leadership and preparation of the candidates. We were fortunate to have Auxiliary Bishop Anthony Ireland’s gentle yet poignant guidance, and homily as the Principal Celebrant for the Mass.

Thank you also to the beautiful choir children and their parents for bringing them along to sing in the Mass choir. The choir were: Chase, Ellie, Eirene, Claire, Poppy B, Harper, Annabella, Emi & Poppy L. These children looked and sounded fabulous and their support was so much appreciated during a busy weekend for all families.

Big thanks to Bill Baxter (Grandad to Harrison B who was confirmed) and John Sonneveld (Grandad to Ruby M who was confirmed) for their special role in playing music for the Mass. Your support and dedication is much appreciated, especially by me.

Catholic Baptism

For families considering The Sacrament of Catholic Baptism for their child/ren, please contact the Western Port Parish Centre on (03) 5979 4374. Should you make Baptism arrangements with the Parish, please inform me so that this special milestone for your child can be acknowledged within the school community. Please also forward a copy of your child’s Baptism Certificate to the school so that this can be reflected in the school records.

Families who wish for their children to receive any sacrament or The Rite of Reception through the parish, have been requested by Fr Shymon to make timely arrangements, as adequate preparation is required. This is especially important when families wish to enroll in school sacramental preparation programs, such as First Reconciliation, First Eucharist and Confirmation.
