Green Team Report

Last Friday the Green Team came together with their class pumpkins to share the fun they have been having in their classroom with their pumpkin. The pumpkins have been the focus of many different learning activities and the students enjoyed sharing their work. Some of the ways the pumpkins have been used to engage the students in their learning is; writing information reports, narratives, recounts, poems and recipes. In Mathematics the pumpkins were the subject of creating graphs, writing and solving word problems and measurement activities. 

After sharing their classroom fun, the Green Team were given the opportunity to decorate their class pumpkin. The pumpkins were given hair, eyes, a nose, a mouth and some even glasses. The students displayed amazing teamwork and it was fantastic to see the senior students assist the younger children to plan and create their pumpkin pupils. The photos attached show the proud and happy faces of the Green Team with their pumpkins.
