World Environment Day and World Oceans Day 

We would like to acknowledge the significant environmental events that took place this week, namely World Environment Day on Monday and World Oceans Day on Thursday.

From June 6th to 8th, year 7-10 classes from Brentwood actively participated in the Online Sustainable Oceans Competition by Education Perfect. This educational competition focused on enhancing student’s knowledge about the world's oceans and unique Australian marine environments, including the Great Barrier Reef and Ningaloo Reef. Students learned about these topics and answered related questions to accumulate points based on their correct responses. Brentwood secured an impressive 2nd place in Victoria and 5th place Australia-wide. This is a tremendous achievement and showcases Brentwood’s dedication to environmental sustainability.

Thanks to Ms. Saathoff for organising this competition at Brentwood and demonstrating exceptional environmental leadership.

Light Up Timor 

The Brentwood Green Team has joined hands with Solar Buddy to address energy poverty. The team is raising funds to purchase, assemble and donate 100 solar lights to support the 'Light Up Timor' campaign. Your donations can light up the world.
