Prep Bedtime Story Night

On a cold wintry night, after dark, all the Preps came back to school dressed warmly in their pyjamas and slippers, clutching favourite teddies for a Bedtime story night. They all enjoyed reading cuddled up to a parent, making a craft together and finding their name hidden all around the A3 open space. 

Mrs Vaughan & Mrs Fernihough made an appearance as our special story readers. The Preps sang beautifully to the parents and then enjoyed a pre-bedtime snack of milk and a biscuit. 

Prep teachers in matching PJs read a final story, prayed and sent them all home to bed. It is a privilege to continue to foster the love of literature with our youngest students. 

A Night Worth Noting

Last Wednesday was certainly a night worth noting, as the Year 6 Students participated in their Night of Notables showcase. The afternoon was a celebration of the students' remarkable achievements, as they showcased their knowledge, creativity, and public speaking skills. 

With exhibits portraying notable figures from various fields, interactive displays, and engaging presentations, our students immersed themselves in the lives and contributions of inspiring individuals who contributed to Australia’s history since Federation.  

The event was a testament to their dedication, and it left a lasting impact on all who attended!
