Years 7 and 8 Soccer
On Friday 16th June, the girls from Years 7 and 8, and the boys from Year 8 went across the border to Jack Eddy Oval in Moama for the annual Campaspe soccer competition. The Year 7 girls went down to both St Mary of the Angels (SMOTA) and St Joe's but continued to have fun and support the others teams. The Year 8 girls lost their first game to St Joe's but made a come back against Echuca College and Rochester, winning both games 2-0 with the goals kicked by Chelsea R.
The Year 8 boys had a great day, winning three games against Rochester, Echuca College and St Joes. They ended up with a draw against SMOTA. The boys performed well together and played their roles within the game. There was many goal scorers across the day and quite a few interesting celebrations. Overall, all students should be proud of not only their efforts, but the way they conducted themselves throughout the day. Well done everyone!!

Years 5 and 6 Football
The Years 5 and 6 boys set off to Jack Eddy Oval in Moama for a day of Football on 20th June. Having the first game off meant that Coach Kirby could take the boys through a warm up and some drills. After a slow start for the first couple of games, the boys found their mojo against Rochy. They took the lead in the beginning of the game and held onto it. They then came up against Ky P-12 where you could see the boys were having fun playing against people they knew. The boys ended up losing but were determined to win the next game against Echuca East. The boys won the game putting them in a final against Ky P-12 again. Although the boys may not have come out on top for the day, they showed great sportsmanship and perseverance throughout the day and left the day with a smile on their faces. Well done boys!
