Parents and Friends

Last week the Parents and Friends met .... we had about 20 parents in attendance which was terrific!!!!

We are hoping to reinvent the Parents and Friends Committee into next year !!

After nominations our new President is Alisha Le Huray and we thank her for her generosity.

We discussed the purpose of the P&F and saw this as two fold:

to be a hand of welcome and assist in building the community
to organise activities which assist in the fundraising of the school.

We discussed a range of ideas around possible events and activities and shared our thoughts. These included new fundraising ideas and social events!!!

We discussed possible meeting times and thought perhaps alternate between a daytime meeting and night meeting. We recognised that not all people will be able to attend, so thought that all agendas and minutes could be shared by email and that if parents had ideas etc and couldn't attend a meeting that they could email the group or have someone attending speak on their behalf!!!

There will be a meeting later this term!!!! Watch this space....
