We are excited to announce a ONE OFF opportunity to receive your coffee pods at St Joes. Alongside the Colgate oral waste recycling box in the office, there will be a coffee pod box. This is a once off chance to recycle your used coffee pods. Once our box of full, they will be sent to a processing plant in Sydney where they will be repurposed. 

Please make the most of this opportunity to reduce your landfill bins at home! 

Eco Monitors

It is with great pleasure that we introduce to our school community our newly appointed Eco Monitors. 

These wonderful students have been nominated but their teachers and peers and will be guided throughout the year by our student led sustainability team. 

Our Eco monitors will assist with:

Management/awareness of waste (making sure correct bins are being used and waste appropriately sorted)

Management/awareness of energy best practice (turning lights off where not needed, phantom energy etc)

Advocacy for all facets of sustainable practice within our school and community

A huge congratulations to these incredible students for leading the way with their enthusiasm and passion for environment and sustainability. We look forward to celebrating your roles soon and watching you all lead as stewards of the earth.
