News from the 5/6 Community
We were fortunate in the 5/6 community to begin our week in Kitchen Science and Permaculture with Matt and Lucy. In the garden, we discovered some of the principles of Permaculture and began planting a new yield of carrots and silverbeet. We are now in charge of the care and maintenance of them, making sure we can develop enough crops to use in the kitchen.
In the kitchen, we sat with Matt and brainstormed health and safety standards we need to maintain to deliver an optimal cafe experience. We also discovered how different families use food as rituals to bring them all together. We reflected on the things we were thankful for and then shared a beautiful meal, 3 varieties of Cobb loaf!
We can't wait to share more fantastic experiences that come our way with you all.
