Colour Run Results

What an amazing effort from the entire SFS community! We just want to thank you for helping us smash our target this year! We are delighted to announce that our total profit is over $6,500. We cannot wait to discuss with the school, some ideas for how that money will be best used to benefit our children.

A special mention goes to Zain, Chole & Phebian for being our top 3 fundraisers for 2021. We could not be prouder of your efforts it was truly amazing!! 

Congratulations goes to RI who were the homegroup to raise the most funds for the colour run. They have won a “mini party” which we look forward to hosting, with cupcakes, music, and gifts. The party is planned for Friday May 28th please keep an eye out for an Operoo notification to be sent out in the coming week. Congratulations RI you guys definitely deserve to party! 

Cancer Council Says Thankyou

We are delighted to announce that we raised $1,100.00 between the Mother’s Day Raffle and the Morning Tea! 

All proceeds will be donated to the Cancer Council, who were profoundly grateful that we once again took part in the Biggest Morning Tea. Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make the day such a great success.

Working with Children Check

The PFA often put a call out for parent helpers, however, to get involved you must have a current WWCC. 

St Francis De Sales require a photocopy of your card, if you already have a current WWCC please visit Lorenza or Vivienne in the office, and they will happily take a copy of it to keep on record. 

If you would like to apply for one, it is very simple, an application for a Volunteer WWCC is free to obtain, just visit the website below to apply.

Wonder Recycling Rewards

The Wonder Recycling Collection boxes have arrived at school! Don't forget to collect all your empty bread bags (any brand) and get your kids to drop them off in the collection boxes in the main corridor. The more we collect, the more reward points we earn for our school. Not only is it great for the environment, but Wonder are turning our used bread bags into school play equipment! Let’s all get behind this great initiative!! 

Beko Donation

A Big thankyou to Beko Appliances & Sandro (an SFS Parent) for their generous donation. The PFA are immensely grateful for their new fridge! It is the perfect addition to the community room for when we run our morning/afternoon teas!

Upcoming Events

We have some exciting events coming up for our SFS kids! We are still fine tuning the details but come June the students will enjoy a red rooster fun lunch and our highly anticipated DISCO!! Stay tuned for further information.

Popcorn & Chip Fridays

Fun Friday is back! This term we will be selling Cool Pack Popcorn and Coles Plain Crinkle Cut Chips at first lunch every Friday. Don’t forget to give your child 50c, so they don’t miss out!
