Winter has struck with some cold wet weather. Unfortunately with that has come some unwelcome cold and flu bugs, as well ,now, some renewed concerns regarding COVID. It is important that if your child is showing symptoms of colds that you keep them home. We have been blessed to have had so little Covid in recent months and we have, perhaps, become a little complacent. A timely reminder to us all to remember the social distancing, the hand washing and use of hand sanitiser.

Nationally Consistent Collection of Data.

The link below is to the Information Sheet for the NCCD (Nationally Consistent Collection of Data) . This takes place every year throughout Australia and is a requirement for schools to complete.

The NCCD is a collection that counts:

•the number of school students receiving an adjustment or ‘help’ due to disability

•the level of adjustment they are receiving to access education on the same basis as other students.

Students are counted in the NCCD if they receive ongoing adjustments at school due to disability. This ‘help’ allows them to access education on the same basis as a child without disability. The NCCD uses the definition of disability in the Disability Discrimination Act 1992. Schools provide this information to education authorities.

This fact sheet gives you more information about the process. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
