McKINNON MASCOT

Hi, McKinnon! It's been a while but we're back with some news about the new McKinnon Mascot: Jasper!

We hope you're just as excited about Jasper as we are! Here's a little time-lapse about how they came to be.

The idea of the mascot was conceived on an engineering excursion. From there we held a design competition last year, and the winning design by popular vote came from McKinnon student Kaya Yu! The name Jasper stood out from all of the entries for suggested names.

We have partnered with a company called OddBods to create the physical form. It was supposed to be completed soon, but due to the Coronavirus outbreaks, it's a bit delayed.

We hope to be able to start spotting him around campus in the coming weeks!

NEW DATE FOR McKOLOUR RUN 2021 

Our biennial, student-organised relay challenge will now take place on Friday 8 October 2021, 9am to 5pm. 

To accommodate for this change, registrations have reopened for the next 7 days:

There are over 879 students in 162 teams who have registered to participate in the 8 hour relay colour run. We are raising funds to support Monash Children's Hospital in caring for kids our age. You can make a donation here:
