WELCOME BACK TO SEMESTER 2

Welcome back to the world of PE and Sport in Semester 2.

This is indeed a busy semester in PE and Sport. We have many events taking place as well as lunch time activities, inter school competitions and Health & PE week to name but a few.

The PE department are also pleased to announce that the school community has raised $2790 for Head Space through #thepushupchallenge and collectively completed 114,263 push ups. These funds will help Head Space provide tailored and holistic mental health support for young people aged 12-25 years old. Thank you to all staff, students and families who were involved with the challenge either pushing or donating. This has been an amazing team effort.

At the start of Term 3 our Year 7 students went on some excursions to Edge Gymnastics to support their learning in Gymnastics. The Year 7s had lots of fun learning new skills and experiencing new activities. It was impressive to see how talented some of our students are.

Watch this space, Compass newsfeed and the schools social media for details of all of the PE and sports events and competitions happening this term.

Stay safe and stay active.
