Sub School Celebrations

This week, our junior and senior sub schools have had assemblies where we have celebrated a range of different areas in which students have shown outstanding  leadership and performance in extracurricular activities.  This is something that we place great emphasis on across the school. The assembly celebrated:

• The incredible efforts of our Athletic Carnival individual champions, the leadership of our House Captains,  Vera Kurilic and Hamza Ozsehitoglu (Cotterell), Christopher Jones and Bailey Felise (Watts),  Ebony Davies and Kelly Thomas (Kitson), and our Sport Coordinator, Danielle Cook.
• Another outstanding debating season, including the leadership of our debating leader Zac Geddes, and our Public Speaking and Debating Coordinator, Hayley Clancy.
• Our Music Concert, Instrumental Program, and other events such as the Winter Workshops Month ably led by our music captains Olivia Brock and Liam Finnigan, and our Instrumental Music Coordinator, Lauren Moore.

The student leadership application process for 2017 was introduced. We are proud of the work of our student leaders. They play a large role in bringing our community together in a broad variety of areas. We are looking forward to this continuing into 2017.

The final assembly item promoted the 2016 Variety Show. The excitement is building as show time approaches late next week!

Parents are advised that police have been booking cars that are double parked in Wilson Road.
