World Challenge Trip

World Challenge Trip
After a successful expedition to Borneo last year, Staughton College are delighted to announce that we are launching another very exciting program which offers students the opportunity to plan, fund and ultimately lead their own 21 day long expedition to Thailand & Laos in December 2016.
World Challenge is unique; students have a chance to CHALLENGE themselves and lead the expedition team to a developing world country, run a budget, organise some of the accommodation and transport and run group meetings with the guidance of teachers and staff. Not only is World Challenge an incredible cultural experience, the fact that students LEAD the team ensures they develop real-world leadership and communication skills that they would use in every aspect of adulthood whether they go straight into the workforce or further study!
We understand that you will have a lot of questions about the program particularly around the support we can give to the students and families to fundraise, so please come along and ask all those questions in person next Tuesday:
Date: Tuesday February 16th
Time: 6.00 pm
Venue: Staughton College (D11/D13)

The expedition to Thailand & Laos is preceded by a training and preparation program, during which students play a major role in planning their own itinerary which will include;
