2020 Student Wellbeing Series 2

In 2020, we will continue our highly successful Student Wellbeing Series  – a series of family information events as part of the Kilvington PEP Talks program.

By popular demand, following her Strength-based Parenting presentation in 2019, we are fortunate to have Professor Lea Waters back to share her deep insight into positive psychology and education.

PEP Talk 1: Visible Wellbeing – When We Feel Good, We Function Well

Professor Lea Waters AM, (Ph.D) is a psychologist, researcher, consultant, author and public speaker specialising in positive psychology and education. She has recently completed a series of Visible Wellbeing workshops for Kilvington Grammar teaching staff.

To help reinforce the link between school and home, Lea has created a presentation specifically for parents and guardians that complements the work done with teaching staff. This presentation introduces parents to Visible Wellbeing, the culmination of 20 years of research in psychology and education that combines the science of wellbeing with the science of learning to make wellbeing visible at school and at home.

Lea will share a few of the Visible Wellbeing practices that can be easily used by parents to support the wellbeing of their children at home.

Visible Wellbeing has now reached more than 100 schools across the world in North America, Asia, Australia, the Middle East and New Zealand.
