CLASS LIAISONS

Dear Kalinda Parents & Guardians,

Class Liaisons are imperative to communications, both within the class and the wider school community.

For this reason, every class requires a Class Liaison to facilitate communications, and assist with the following:

• Cooperate with the teacher to organise a roster for classroom help, and encouraging parents to sign up
• Communicating any class and/or year level organised events with other parents in the class (usually via a private class FB page)
• Facilitate the arrangement of social events for parents/carers, and/or school holiday catch-ups etc.
• Provide feedback to the P&F, via the Class Liaison Coordinator, with any suggestions or queries parents may have in relation to school events

The role is fun, it’s social and a great opportunity to get to know your class teacher and other parents.

Your child will also love having you around the school and seeing you involved with their class.

It’s a very simple role that requires minimal time. If you’d like to contribute to the Kalinda community but don’t have a lot of time – this is the role for you!!

If you would like more information about the role please speak to your class teacher, or if you’d like to step up into the Class Liaison role please complete the below and pass it onto your class teacher, who will appoint the successful person to the position, and advise the P&F.
