Assistant Principal

Year 9 & 10

Julie Ryan

Last week we celebrated ES (Education Support Day) on the 16th of May. Our Education Support staff are crucial to the effective running of the college and support our students in a wide range of areas whether this is in the, general office, library, IT, maintenance, science labs, food tech, wellbeing, assessment and reporting, college operations, classroom aides or the uniform shop. Thank you for all you do for our college community.

Except for some catch up sessions to occur this week, the majority of our students have given their feedback for the annual Student Attitudes to School Survey. Thanks to all of our students for taking the time to share their experience of the college.

Sport, sport and more sport! This term so far we have had; football, badminton, hockey, cross country, state tennis, basketball and soccer. We have a thriving interschool sport program at the college and many teachers and senior students who take on coaching roles so that our teams have an opportunity to compete within our network.

Year 9 and 10 students will be completing exams during Week 6 (29th May – 2nd of June). This is the first formal exam period for our Year 9 students who will undertake an English exam and a Maths exam. Year 10 students will complete a Humanities, Science, English and Maths exam. Students will be provided with a copy of their exam timetable this week. I wish students all the best as they revise and prepare to demonstrate all of the subject knowledge acquired over the academic year so far.
