Premiers Reading Challenge 

The Premiers’ Reading Challenge has had a successful start. It has been wonderful to see the Year 7 and Year 8 English classes reading books from the challenge list, within reading and library sessions. It has also been amazing to see so many of our Year 9 and Year 10 students still engaged in the challenge beyond the requirement.

Lalor students have been really focusing on their reading during class time this year, with over 300 books already entered onto the challenge website. Lalor has also had a few students who have already completed the challenge since the beginning of March.

Students who complete the challenge will receive a certificate from our premier, as well as house points. Students who excel in their dedication to reading will be in the running for bronze, silver and gold prizes for the most books read within their sub-school.
