TENISON BIGGEST MORNING TEA

MS JESSICA CURTIS - TENISON HOUSE LEADER

On Tuesday 30th May, Tenison hosted the Biggest Morning Tea to raise money to support the Cancer Council and the work they do every day with Australians impacted by Cancer. Tenison Homerooms worked together to decide what items each would bring in and then Tenison students brought in home-baked and purchased items to donate for morning tea. It was wonderful to see so many items donated.

We want to take this opportunity to thank everyone involved in setting up the morning tea during Lesson 1. Mr Crow and his VP class including Bradley Greenham, Travis Greenham, Vetaya Male, Lakiesha O’Sullivan, Ned Ryan, Harry Scott and Sophie Sutton supported the junior house captains and worked extremely hard to plate sweets onto over 340 plates to sell. Thanks also goes to staff members Gerry Vytilingam and Kathie Box who also were a great support during the plating process.

Thanks to all students who made a donation for the casual dress day and purchased a plate of sweets or a hot milo. We were able to raise $1,216 for the Cancer Council. The remaining plates of sweets were donated to the Good Kitchen.

A big thank you to the Tenison Homeroom teachers and House Captains. This was a huge success due to their hard work.
