Year 1 Guardians of Gardens

Each child was able to create their own mini garden in a jar. 

Moss and jars were brought from home and each class showed great concentration and imagination constructing their terrariums. 

Year 2 Sleepover at Science Works

From Isabella, Year 2 teacher

During Week 2 and Week 3, the Year 2 cohort had their sleepover at Science Works.

The night started with some very excited 7 and 8 year old’s, eager to wave goodbye to their mums and dads. We began with a show at the Planetarium about Space. We got to have a play at Sports Works, before winding down for bed. We loved sleeping on our roll out mattresses and in our sleeping bags. Let’s just say we didn’t get much sleep!

The following day we were able to explore all the exhibitions in Science Works without any other people there! We had the best time and already can’t wait for Year 3 camp!
