Year 4 Diamonds - Bee Bots & Blue Bots 

This term Year 4 Diamonds have been looking at programming Bee Bots and Blue Bots. We looked at how they move and how we could get them to avoid obstacles. The next step from there was to design our own obstacle courses or games and test them using the Bee Bots.

Year 2 Opals - "Mix it Up"

Year 2 Opals have been enjoying the science unit “Mix it up” in which they have made many mixtures, conducted experiments, made a delicious slice, squishy playdough and cloud clay as well as erupting volcanoes.  The students have learnt that some mixtures can be separated while others cannot and that baking soda reacts with acids.
