Sienna Di Battista

Hi everyone,

My name is Sienna Di Battista and I am currently in grade 4 at Truganina South Primary School.

When I was four,  I saw a little girl at a play centre with no hair.

I asked my Mum why she had no hair and was told it was because she had cancer and lost her hair during treatment.

Ever since then I have been growing my hair in a bid to donate it to a cancer charity to have a wig made for a child suffering from cancer.

I have been growing it for six years as the donated hair needs to be at least 30cm long. It is now long enough to cut and donate, I will be cutting my hair up to my shoulders.

However, it costs $3,000 to make a wig and I am currently trying to raise the money so families with children suffering from cancer are not financially out of pocket.

If you could possibly donate a few dollars to my fundraising page, I would be forever grateful and so will one special little child suffering from cancer.

Here is a link to my page, just click and donate. All donations over two dollars are tax deductible.

Thanks so much,

Sienna

Mini Athletics Carnival

Wow!! The P-2 Mini Athletics carnival was lots of fun and even the weather could not put a dampener on things.  The children all tried very hard and enjoyed themselves.  Red House was victorious with the other houses close behind.  Well done everyone and a huge thank you to all the 5/6 students for their help running the activities.
