Virtual Cross Country Carnival

The current conditions that surround us mean there are no training sessions, sporting clubs, events or carnivals at this time. However, the Physical Education Department has come up with a solution: a Virtual  Cross Country Carnival!

The virtual carnival allows staff, students and parents to participate in the carnival just as we all would in the physical sense. The Carnival offers an opportunity for the College Community to remain connected, compete with house spirit and to be adaptable virtually.

The Carnival will be running for the month of April as students & staff try to walk or run as many kilometres as they can for their House. In the first week,  the Carnival has had very good feedback. With over 150 students & staff registering with the STRAVA application and recorded over 875 kilometres.  It has been a fantastic effort so far.

Total House - km /Top Individual - km:

  • Tongerlo – 209km / Lily Poolman – 34.6km
  • Prémontré – 53km / Paige Craven Bower 10km
  • Madgeburg – 216km / Blake Webb – 45.8km
  • Xanten – 304km / Ethan Powe – 63.1km
  • Kilnacrott – 92km / Neve Adnams – 21.2km

There are three weeks left of the Virtual Cross Country, so register with Strava and start moving today.
