Year 6 Trivia Night

On Thursday 16th September,  the grade 6's were able to have an online Trivia Night organised by Mrs Baum and the Year 6 teachers. There were many laughs and old memories brought up, definitely a night to remember. We had special guests join from around the country reminding us of some of the amazing times we have had over the years. It was a wonderful trip down memory lane with six awesome rounds of trivia personalized to the 2021 grade six year level. To keep the night going we had some games including fun parent involvement. And to finish the night off we watched a memorable video that sparked many emotions, tears, happiness, and joy.

As an end of Term 3 treat,  the Grade 6’s enjoyed a trivia night put together by Mrs Baum. A VERY fun trivia night! All of the questions focused on current Grade 6 students, and our experiences on our journey through the years at Boronia Heights Primary School. I would like to thank Mrs Baum and all the current and retired teachers who were involved for putting this great night together. My family really enjoyed the night, especially when we got bonus points for the best dressed challenge! My Mum and Dad could not stop laughing!! Congratulations to all the winners and thanks teachers for putting this fun night together!

The best part of the trivia night was being able to see all of my friends in the photos over the seven years and seeing how much fun I have had. I realised that I do not remember my school years very much because I got most of my questions wrong! But overall, the trivia night was great fun.

Jewel Jackson - 6K

Congratulations to Year 6T who took out the overall Trivia Night Grand Prize.

The three individual winners were; Ella 6T, Jayde & Sienna 6T/6K and Isabella 6K

Little Cuddle Bear

Each year when the Prep children start school they use a ‘Little Cuddle Bear’ to help them settle. This bear becomes someone to cuddle if they’re worried, something to ‘fiddle’ with if they need the distraction, and someone to talk to about their feelings. The bear is friendly, and never argues back or tells them what to do!

Click here to download the knitting instructions on how to make a  ‘Little Cuddle Bear’. If can you knit or know someone who would like to knit them for us, it would be very appreciated. Please return any bears to the school office.

Thank you!
