CaSSSA Athletics Wrap Up

84 Mount A Athletes competed at the 2021 CaSSSA competition. Although the weather was extremely hot, with everyone eager to find shade, every Mt A Athlete competed to their very best ability and all their hard work from morning training, Thursday afternoon training and lead up meets paid off!

Despite the current circumstance of COVID-19 and having to have cancelled some training sessions, this was one of the largest and most committed team of athletes Mt A has seen in years, as well as some of the best results. Each age group finished in the following places:

• 12 years – 6th
• 13 years – 7th
• 14 years – 7th
• 15 years – 3rd
• 16 years – 6th
• 19 U years – 5th

A huge congratulations to those who competed in Under 15s who brought home a 3rd place banner! Another big thank you to everyone who showed up and competed on the day; we could not be prouder, and a massive thank you to all the coaches and support from the college, making this athletics season so successful!
