Term 3 sport has now come to a close, and Term 4 sport training will begin in two weeks! A huge congratulations to all the students who were apart of the Mt A teams this term. They all showed an incredible amount of resilience with the snap lockdown and then the no school/community sport - this also meant no sport training.

This also goes for every student who competed at CASSSA Athletics on Monday, which was one of the biggest teams Mt A has had representing the college. We are extremely proud of everyone who performed to the best of their ability considering training had to be paused at school and continued in their own time. Thank you to the staff and coaches who helped make this day possible.

On Wednesday we had teachers vs students dodgeball. The first game the teacher won but not without a fight against Lucy England (Yr 12), who played solo for the majority of the end of the game.

The second game went to the bell and the students won that game, with the blackboard being hit within the last few seconds bring all the students back in, leaving 4 teachers on the side line. We’re grateful to share these experiences with the teachers of Mt A!

As my time as Sports Captain comes to an end, I am excited to start the mentoring process and hand over to our 2022 Sports Captain, Jemma Keefe, who will follow in the footsteps of myself and past Captains. I will pass on to Jemma our sporting enthusiasm and our need to grow and embrace the journey which was a huge focus amongst the 2021 Captains. I am extremely proud of the work and effort that each student and team put in this year achieving the greatest.
