Tally Whole School Running Carnival
This week our students have started their Whole School Running Carnival. The students are heading out and running around the big or small oval to practise their running skills in preparation for the Cross Country. They are encouraged to try and improve each day with their running and working at a pace they are comfortable with. Every lap the students complete is a point towards their house. The winning house will be announced at the end of the carnival.
Oceanic Swimming
Congratulations to Isaac and Noah who qualified for the QLD state titles in swimming. Both boys swam extremely well with Isaac qualifying for 8 events and Noah, despite feeling unwell, qualified for 2 events. The boys will compete at the State titles next weekend in Brisbane. We wish you both all the best.
Oceanic District Trials
We have had a busy couple of weeks with some of our students attending the Oceanic trials. In the last two weeks we have had the AFL, netball and this week the soccer trials. If your child is selected to attend the Oceanic trial, please read the information carefully as there is a lot of paperwork that needs to be completed beforehand.
Have a great week!
