Year 9 Skill Set at CDU

Vocational Education and Training, VET, is a wonderful way of learning. It provides an excellent opportunity for students to develop knowledge and practical skills relevant to selected industries that interest them. 

During Week 9, 48 St Philip’s students participated in the Year 9 Skill Set program at Charles Darwin University. Students attended CDU for the week, engaging in various exciting cluster courses, including Retail Cosmetics, Salon Assistant, Creative Industries, Music, Business, Engineering, Construction, Automotive, and Cookery. Students enjoyed their hands-on practical experience, developing new skills in their selected courses and better understanding various Vocational Pathways. The students can try a different skill set in Term 2.
