Upcoming Learning
During the last week of Term 1, students will be undertaking learning in the following areas:
| Reading | Week 10- We will be exploring a range of texts that include sounds and heart words as part of our Little Learners Love Literacy program. Students will participate in a range of reading activities that will support them in developing their phonological awareness. |
| Writing | Week 10- Students will explore narrative writing relating to Easter and the exciting activties we have coming up at school to celebrate the upcoming Easter holidays. |
| Maths | Week 8 and 9 - Students will be re-visiting patterns, length, data, place value, money and time, which are the topics of maths that we have explored this term. |
| Inquiry | Week 10 - Students will be exploring the different celebrations among cultures, and participate in an activity relating to the upcoming Easter celebration. |
| SEL | Week 10 - We will explore honesty and integrity, and the importance of telling the truth. |
News and Reminders:
- Reader satchels need to be brought to school every Monday.
- Please sign your child's reading log (located at the back of their phonics book) every night.
- Remember although your child only comes home with two books they read one each night this will help build their fluency.
- Please remember to return your books on your class's assigned library day.
