Upcoming Learning:

During the next fortnight, students will be undertaking learning in the following areas:

Subject	Learning Focus
Reading	To revise devices used in a persuasive piece of writing.
Writing	To understand what persuasive devices are and why they are used.
Maths	To identify missing numbers within an equation. To understand equivalent sums.
Inquiry (Health)	To understand the importance of personal hygiene.
Social & Emotional Learning	To explore the importance of Anzac Day. To understand the importance of commemorating Anzac Day.

News and Reminders:

Reading is expected every night, and to be recorded by the students in their student diaries. Parents/ Guardians are asked to sign at the end of each week.
Diaries are to be brought into school each day.
Hats are to be worn during all of Term 1 and the beginning of Term 2.

Celebration of Learning:

Students in Grade 4 have enjoyed collecting data by surveying their peers and creating graphs. Some very creative questions and graphing skills.

4E along with Miss Dunstan and Ms Flick soaked up the last of the sunshine by taking reading groups outside. We will continue to enjoy learning in different areas next term, maybe with a few more layers of clothing on though.
