Student Dress Code

Over the past few years, we have been quite lenient with our expectations around uniforms, understanding that families struggled to get new uniforms during the pandemic and in its wake. This year, we are increasing vigilance around uniforms that don't fall within our Student Dress Code, as outlined in the below policy.

Specifically, we will be encouraging students to wear:

  • Bomber jackets/windcheaters/jumpers that are red or black (logo preferred)
  • Outerwear coats of any colour may be worn outdoors
  • Plain black, loose-fitting shorts or pants (rather than leggings)
  • Plain grey, white or black socks
  • Black school shoes or runners

In addition, correct school uniform includes:

  • No jewellery, with the exception of watches and sleepers or studs in ears. Religious necklaces may be worn under the uniform, below the neckline
  • Hair tied back (to avoid headlice transmission)
  • Natural hair colour and nail colour
  • No makeup is to be worn

If you require any support or guidance in purchasing correct uniform items, please don't hesitate to contact the office.

KPS Special Lunch Order!

Thank you to all the families who ordered a Special Lunch a couple of weeks ago. It was so fun seeing all our students enjoying delicious pasta for lunch! Thank you also to our resident chef, Sam Robinson, and the parents who helped her prepare and package the individual meals.

We are looking forward to having our second Special Lunch day on Monday 8th May. Students (and even a few staff!) will enjoy a lunch of Fried Rice, homemade 'LCMs' and a drink.

As we are working towards being sustainable and avoiding single-use plastics, we will be serving Special Lunches in reusable containers and cutlery from now on, which will be returned to the canteen after each Special Lunch, to be used again next time. Just another small way we can help our lovely planet.
