Over the past few years, we have been quite lenient with our expectations around uniforms, understanding that families struggled to get new uniforms during the pandemic and in its wake. Thank you to all the families who ordered a Special Lunch a couple of weeks ago. It was so fun seeing all our students enjoying delicious pasta for lunch! Thank you also to our resident chef, Sam Robinson, and the parents who helped her prepare and package the individual meals.
We are looking forward to having our second Special Lunch day on Monday 8th May. Students (and even a few staff!) will enjoy a lunch of Fried Rice, homemade 'LCMs' and a drink.
As we are working towards being sustainable and avoiding single-use plastics, we will be serving Special Lunches in reusable containers and cutlery from now on, which will be returned to the canteen after each Special Lunch, to be used again next time. Just another small way we can help our lovely planet.
