From the Deputy Principal

SEQTA

The learning management system we use here at GSG is called SEQTA and many of you will already be familiar with it. You may have experience with using SEQTA Engage to view your child's report or to keep track of their assessments and view feedback from teachers. For students in Years Three, Five, Seven and Nine, this is also where your child's NAPLAN results will be made available. Here at school we also use SEQTA to communicate internally with colleagues, record student progress, keep and track attendance and monitor student achievement and engagement. It is a very helpful tool for us as educators.

SEQTA is a useful place to start looking if your child is home and recovering from illness, in that time where they might not be well enough to attend school but still able to engage in school work in some small way. If you have any queries about accessing SEQTA you can contact our IT Support Team on 9844 0333. I encourage you to view SEQTA Engage and contact us if you have any queries.

School Photo Days

In Week Ten of this term, on 3 and 4 April, we will have our school photo days. These days present a great opportunity to capture a record of all the amazing activities our children take part in. They are also very busy days of tight schedules and, for some students, many uniform changes! Please keep an eye out, in coming weeks for the schedule and the uniform requirements. House, homeroom, sport and individual photos will all be taken during the school day. There is also an opportunity to have sibling photos taken before school, from 7.45am. More details will follow.
