Fete - Ride Wristbands, Cake Boxes and Volunteers 

Ride and Lunch Wristbands

 

It's time to pre-purchase your Fete wristbands. These little numbers offer great value and ease, allowing kids unlimited riding and lunch from the BBQ. They are also a great opportunity to support the Fete by helping to ease congestion on the day. 

 

Big Fun: $60 (presale only, not available on the day)

Unlimited rides: Giant Slide, Dodgem Cars, Wild Chairs and Tea Cups. 

Daryl's Farmyard Experience

Beef or Vegan Sausage in bread with sauce/onions x 1

Drink (juice box, water or soft drink can) x 1

Choose 2 snacks from: Popcorn, Fairy Floss, Snow Cone or Icy pole.  x 2 

 

All Day Rides: $45 (available on the day $50)

Unlimited rides: Giant Slide, Dodgem Cars, Wild Chairs and Tea Cups.

Please note the kids zone, dunk tank, boxmaze, face paint and hair studio are not included in the wristband. Tickets for these can be purchased on the day.

FETE CAKE STALL BOXES

 

The Fete Cake Stall relies on all families in our school community making cakes and goodies.

 

Today the eldest child in each CNPS family will bring home a bag, flat-packed box and labels to use for your family's contribution to the Fete Cake Stall. 

 

Please list all the ingredients - labels are provided for this. Feel free to use other packaging if you prefer and just return the box to the office so someone else can use it. If you need more boxes or labels, ask at the office or contact Marianne (details below). 

On Fete Day it is fine to include nuts but not highly perishable items such as cream, as cakes will not be refrigerated. 

 

Cakes & goodies can just be dropped off at the Cake Stall when you arrive on Fete Day. If you don’t need the paper bag, bring it along to the Cake Stall on Fete Day so it can be re-used.

Help!! Call out for more volunteer help at the Fete

 

Hi everyone,

 

Less than two weeks to go and everything is action stations as we head to the 2023 Great Lee Street Fete!

 

You will hear from us a bit (ok, it could be a lot!) between now and Fete day as we try to fill all the helper spots.

 

It definitely takes ‘many hands to make a great fete’!

 

See below logistics and two stalls that really need our help.

 

LOGISTICS

The set up and pack up of the Fete is a mammoth effort. Annabel and Alice are leading the charge but we need all hands on deck to help with:

  • 'Bump In' the day before and the morning of Fete day - this will include putting up marques, putting up tables, filling sandbags etc.
  • 'Bump Out' after the close of the Fete and the day after - this will include packing up stalls and putting items in the storage containers etc.

SILENT AUCTION

 

This one is a big money raiser for the fete! The team led by Raylyn, Bess and Christina have been doing an awesome job sourcing donations and preparing a silent auction website.

 

The silent auction stall needs your help to:

  • promote items being auctioned
  • remind fete goers to use the QR code to access the auction website
  • walk through the fete to help advertise the QR code so people can access the auction website.
  • if you have time on Tuesday 21 March (after 3.30pm), you could help wrap silent auction items.

WASH UP

 

This year Kate is looking after all things sustainability and wash up for the fete and has even secured a City of Yarra grant so we can buy our own crockery and cutlery to use at future fetes and other school events.

 

A wash up station is being loaned to us by Melbourne Farmer’s Market – but we really need help on the wash up station to make sure our yummo food/coffee stalls all have clean crockery/cutlery on Fete day.
