Successful Swimming Sports

Last Friday twelve of our School of Innovation students braved the cool southerly weather

conditions to compete for St Anne’s College at the district swimming sports. Although small in

number, our team was very competitive, netting a combined total of 122 points to finish in

sixth place overall. Successes on the day included Alick Jarvis who won our first blue ribbon

in the Men’s 50 m freestyle, the Men’s 4 x 50 m freestyle relay team which also placed first

and the Women’s 4 x 50 m freestyle team which finished in second position. These teams

are now eligible to compete in the Hume Division finals to be held in Wodonga on March 17.

Congratulations to all of our participants: Alick, Riley O, Riley C, Ollie, Caidan, Brooke, Ella,

Emily, Kayla, Lila, Matilda and Alanah.

Late in 2019 we had the Carly Ryan Foundation present to Year 7 students and parents. The resources created by the organisation are valuable and beneficial to regularly revisit - their aim is for all young people to have a positive online experience.

Copies of the following 'Online Family Safety Contract' are also available in the College Reception.
