Year 3 Kinect2Dance Incursions

As part of our learning for the How we Express Ourselves Unit of Inquiry Year 3 students have been getting in time with the beat and finding their rhythm on the dance floor! With the support of skilled dance instructors young jivers have been exploring physical expression and communication methods through a variety of different dance styles.  

These sessions have also given students a chance to develop listening, instructional and teamwork skills.

A big thank you to all students for their enthusiastic and open-minded participation.  It is also necessary to recognise the fantastic efforts of instructors from Kinect2Dance! This program will continue throughout the learning inquiry so students can still learn a few more moves yet!
