From the Team

3/4 Classrooms

Looking after our wellbeing is always important, even more so at the moment. During Remote Learning 6.0, the Team 3 / 4 students have been participating in a ‘Wellbeing Wednesday’ activity each week, focusing on simple things that we can do to look after ourselves and others.

In Week 7, the teachers decided that we would take this concept one step further and the students participated in a whole ‘Wellbeing Wednesday’.  This day focused on six main areas that can help us maintain our own wellbeing. It included: gratitude, mindfulness, energy, calming, positivity and reflection activities. The students completed a number of activities that aimed to provide them with a bank of strategies to draw on in times of need.

"I liked the gratitude because it took my mind off things that stressed me out and it was relaxing and a calming thing to do." Lana 3GM

"I liked the pom pom activity because at the end it was fun to play with." Max 3GM

"I liked the grateful task because it made me realise how lucky I am." Leah 3GM

"I liked the energy because I got to dance and listen to music." Fred 3GM

"I liked the hand drawing activity because it made me calm and when I am sad, I look at it." Mia 3GM
