Lights up on Washington Heights! (Almost) 

The 2021 Production team of students and staff feel extremely connected to “In the Heights”, a show that we first began thinking about in 2019. The community built during the creation of a production is always special, however, this group of amazing people have demonstrated ongoing resilience, perseverance and support for each other over two challenging years. I, along with the school, are very proud of each and every one of them. We look forward to performing, whether live or recorded, for our wonderful community as soon as possible.

Over the past month, a group of students ranging from year 8 to year 12 have been working hard with Mr Drinan to create sets for the school production. Led by my friend Pippi and myself, we've been working to create two main sets, one in panels; moved by the backstage crew, and one built into the stage, which you may have seen if you have classes in the theatre. Although we've been interrupted by lockdowns, the sets are almost done and will hopefully be seen in this year's show "In The Heights" sometime soon!
