Application for Admission 2022

It was lovely to see so many prospective families on campus last week for our Term Three Tour Morning. Thank you to the staff and student leaders who showed families around the School.

A reminder to submit an Application for Admission form as soon as possible if you are looking to enrol a younger sibling in 2022. For further information please contact Registrar, Mrs Julia Bairstow, via julia.bairstow@gsg.wa.edu.au

Volunteering

On 23 September, we will be acknowledging our sport volunteers at a special thank you function. The highlight of the evening will be the presentation of five-year and ten-year service badges. Volunteering at GSG means giving your time and abilities to assist students across the School. Simply put, volunteering is a service to our school community. In many respects, our parent volunteers provide the School with a foundation for development in a variety of aspects school life including governance, sport, P&F, boarding, the arts, the farm and even the upcoming Kingfisher Fair.

We rely on volunteers to accomplish day-to-day objectives and reach long-term strategic goals. Our school would not be able to do the important work we do without the power of our parent volunteers.

Nothing gets accomplished by one person alone, we need to band together to make the changes we want to be part of. Giving of your time to be involved in making a positive impact on a child cannot be underestimated. Using an African proverb “it takes a village to raise a child” certainly applies here at GSG.
