Dear Families,

Thank-you so much for your continued efforts, support and perseverance as we dig deep this week, so that we can move forward. I am amazed by the ways in which our parents are soldiering on with home schooling/online learning. YOU ARE ALL AMAZING and we all SEE and APPRECIATE all that you are doing. We know it's HARD WORK and we are grateful for all the ways in which you are supporting your children and our teachers.

This week I thought I would share with you a diagram from Carol Dweck's best seller titled "MINDSET- How you can fulfil your potential in business, parenting, school, relationships." Dr Dweck explains why it's not just our abilities and talent that brings us success, but whether we approach our goals with a fixed or growth mindset. With the right mindset, we can motivate our children to improve their grades, as well as reaching our own goals - whether they be personal or professional.

Our teachers, over the years have touched on the Growth Mindset and now more than ever before, we need to revisit this concept and work towards strengthening a Growth Mindset, so that we can come out of this Lockdown 6.0 stronger, more resilient and focussed on a brighter future.
