Students share their cooking skills
The Languages staff have been looking for interesting and creative ways to engage our Italian and Chinese students whist in lockdown.
Students were given the opportunity to step away from their screens and contribute a delicious Italian or Chinese dish for their family. They were asked to research a simple recipe or make a family favourite and share their cooking skills with us all.
Students were also able to practise their writing and spelling skills by creating words in the language they are studying by using anything in their house other than pen and paper!
Here are some of the fantastic and mouth-watering dishes our students cooked up as well as some words they came up with. Do you know what they mean?
During lockdown students have been able to participate in ‘on site’ classes with onsite staff. This has included the production of Macaroni Cheese, Spaghetti Bolognese and Pizza and cup cakes.
