GROWTH in Mathematics Awards

Every year students’ Multiplicative Thinking is assessed in Year 7 to 9. The assessment informs work-groups for the Scaffolding Numeracy in the Middle Years classes in Year 7 & 8. The assessment also tracks how students have progressed over the past 12 months.

MFG Growth Awards were presented to students who showed more than 15 points growth in the past 12 months regardless of their starting level. These certificates were presented in Maths classes in the absence of school assemblies.
