From the Principal

Term 2, Week 10, Kevin Kennedy

Dear Parents and Carers,

Thank You

It’s hard to believe that we are in the seventh month of the year already and about to start the mid-year break. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the staff, students and families for their support so far this year. Schools can be challenging environments and I am grateful for the respectful and considerate manner that our school community interacts with each other.

Reports

School reports will be sent home with the students tomorrow.  Your child’s report is  designed to be a  constructive document, measuring their growth so far this year and providing helpful suggestions to continue their growth for the next two terms. Please take some time to read this report with your child. It is a good opportunity to reflect on the year so far and discuss what the report means and what action could be taken in the second half of the year. If you have any queries about your report please contact your child’s classroom teacher for clarification.

Assembly

We have our last  assembly for the term tomorrow morning. Miss Allen’s and Mrs Fairweather’s class will be presenting and Mrs Carmichael’s class will be the organising class.   If you have a free morning come along, we’d love to see as many family members attending as possible.

Casual Day

Tomorrow is casual day, students are asked to donate a gold coin which will go to the Women’s and Children’s Hospital. The Women’s and Children’s Hospital has provided wonderful care and support to families from around the state, including families from West Beach ( A nice suggestion Brayden).

Have a happy and safe holidays and  if you have any queries or concerns please book a time to meet with me or pop in for a chat.

Kind regards,

Kevin Kennedy
