Reflections of a Year 7 Maths Student

Year 7 Maths has been great. Instruction has been clear and the maths teachers are good at teaching. The teachers are very helpful and I learn a lot. Year 7 Maths has been quite good compared to my Primary School and I am enjoying it.

During Year 7, math has been good. It’s not that hard. We are learning lots of stuff that I already know and strengthening my knowledge about it but I am also learning some new stuff. Since I came from a small school math is a bit different having lots of people in one class like having less one on one time but I think the textbook helps with that. I was already relatively good at math and my primary school taught me some stuff that was from Year 7 so I already knew some stuff but the classes are reinforcing my knowledge about it. I like my teacher and I enjoy math class. 

Lachlan Hodgkins 7.5

Math at St Bede’s has been a lot different than in primary school. We do it in our homeroom at St Bede’s instead of doing it in separate groups. Although we have started off with things I already knew a lot about, it has progressed into some areas I do not know, and I am not as confident at. With the help of the teachers I know I will achieve good marks. Overall, I have had a great time in St Bede’s mathematics and have learned a lot.
