Playgroup...

As a community we value learning and all our wonderful families. We have loads of little ones here at St Josephs that come into our school with their big brothers and sisters and we are delighted to offer these little people their own program.

We will be offering a Playgroup on a Thursday morning from around 8:45am until 10:15am. If the weather is fine we will play outdoors and just meet near the sandpit. Please bring all snacks for your children as well as sunscreen and a hat.

I am looking forward to working with you on this new initiative. The benefits of children playing outdoors and with other children will prepare our next generation for their time here at St Josephs. Early learning through unstructured play shows enormous positive benefits to children on all levels of development. It is hard to believe that so much learning takes place before these little ones even get to formal schooling.

The connection and conversation between mums (and any dads of course!) will certainly provide support and is proven to be beneficial for your wellbeing. As parents we need to look after ourselves in order that we can give to our families. Please also know that any grandparent that wants to attend is most welcome too.
