2021 is shaping up to be an exciting year! We would like to welcome all of your new Year 7 students to the program. Lessons have now resumed across all year levels and ensembles are back into full swing. Ensembles and Lessons should be showing on Compass.

A reminder that the Instrumental Music Timetable runs slightly differently to regular class times. Students should check Compass for lesson times each week.

Instrumental Session 1 begins at 8.45am – Please check Compass for class times.

For anyone interested in learning an instrument we have a limited number of vacancies in Voice, Flute, Strings & Brass. For other instruments we will be maintaining a waiting list, to register your interest please see Mr Krieg or Ms Wellins in the Performing Arts Staffroom.

Music Club – runs during Break 1 on Tuesday and Thursday in G12. If you are keen to learn a little bit more about writing music and playing in a band we would love to see you!

Choirs– we have a vibrant choral program in the College and all students are encouraged to come and take part. Junior Choir (Years 7 & 8) rehearse on Thursday during Break 1, and Viewbank Voices (Years 9 to 12) rehearse on Thursday mornings 7:45am – 8:45am.
