Lunchtime Events & Activities

Students across Years 7-12 have been heavily involved in the Viewbank College lunchtime activities community. 

Students have participated in all sorts of clubs ranging from science to art & food.

Some Year 7 students have written some reviews on their favorite clubs!

Ever since I joined Bits & Bobs Club it's been one great break after another. Everyone is just so kind and outgoing, I look forward to my Tuesdays and Thursdays. I also love the amount of choice you have, for example, you can choose to do painting squishes or make some fun jewellery, it is also an awesome place to calm down and relax. I am really glad that I found out about Bits & Bobs Club.

It is just a really great experience.

Bits & Bobs Club

Food for Fun club was as you can see very fun!  It taught us ways to whip up fun and easy recipes everyone can try at home while also learning new things!  The food was delicious and I can't wait to taste the wonderful foods in the upcoming weeks!  I personally love to cook at home and this opportunity was very helpful because now I can make these easy treats at home and teach them to my family! The students in the club are friendly and inclusive which makes you feel very welcomed.  I highly encourage everyone to bring a friend, come on the 26th of March to J3 and have a go at making some of these yummy foods!

Food Fun Club

Food club is an awesome place to meet people and eat food.  I really enjoy cooking with Mrs Robinson and sous chef Jack.  When we made dumplings, they were awesome (not as good as my mums though! Oh well). And I usually don’t like hummus but when we made it at Food club, it tasted great!  I don’t know what it is, I think food is better there.  We also had meringues made out of aquafaba (the juice from chickpea tins!) and they tasted awesome.  I really love this club!!
