Students of the Fortnight.

Congratulations to the following students for being recognised for outstanding efforts for this fortnight.
Bradman Student of the Fortnight
Thomas Cegai
B5
We would like to congratulate Thomas Cegai (B5) for his contribution to the Bradman Cluster, specifically during Home Group, where he displays our Cluster values of Excellence, Integrity and Leadership. Thomas consistently goes out of his way to assist in Pastoral Care, with set up and pack up and makes himself available in the Learning Common to help other students with their homework. On the Bradman Cluster Retreat he stood out for his generosity, participation and willingness to push himself in the “challenge by choice” activities. We hope that Thomas will continue to offer his assistance to the Bradman Cluster and the wider College community.
Chang Student of the Fortnight
Justin Carreon
C1
Justin has been working hard this semester and embodies the Chang Cluster values in all that he does. He was full of good energy and enthusiasm for Cluster Feast Day which allowed others to enjoy it as well. Justin sang the opening hymn beautifully at our Cluster mass. We would like to commend him for his awesome efforts.
Dunlop Student of the Fortnight
Trent Oliver
D2
The Dunlop Cluster would like to acknowledge Trent Oliver as a well respected and valued member of the team. Trent commenced his studies at CRC just this year and has settled in well to the College, living out the Cluster values in all that he does. In order to pursue his dream of becoming a Filmmaker, Trent courageously chose to transfer to CRC Sydenham to undertake Year 12 so he could study VCE Media and filmmaking. Since his arrival he has worked tirelessly to establish new friendships and relationships with his teachers, proving himself to be a committed and hardworking student. Outside of the classroom, Trent is kind, funny and always happy to help others. He joins in at Cluster Sport, the Cluster vs Cluster games and other activities around school. We’re really pleased you joined us and thank you for being such a great member of our community.
Mackillop Student of the Fortnight
Maluk Thou
M3
Maluk is always a happy and friendly face around the VCAL centre and TTC. He consistently participates and helps with activities in tutor. This year he has put in a lot of effort to ensure he is not distracted in class, which has enabled him to complete all his work on time and to a high standard.
Truganini Student of the Fortnight
Martina Jurjevic
T6
This fortnight, the Truganini cluster would like to acknowledge Martina Jurjevic. Martina has shown fantastic leadership skills during the cluster retreat. She constantly demonstrates initiative in all activities she participated in, as well as encouraged others to participate as well, whether it is in thrill seeking activities such as the giant swing, or in writing the cluster theme song in the tune of Mama-mia by ABBA (Sing it: Tru-ga-ni-ni!). Martina also volunteered to attend Ozanam House to feed homeless people seeking refuge during the monthly school trip. Martina’s participation and dedication to the cluster and its value has shown her to be an outstanding student and deserving this acknowledgment of the Student of the Fortnight for Truganini.
Winton Student of the Fortnight
Emilia Di Sisto
W6
Year 11 student and member of Winton 6, Emilia Di Sisto was one of the first Catholic Regional College Sydenham students to offer to accommodate our recent visitors from our Italian sister school. Emilia hosted Ilaria over the two weeks and made Ilaria feel welcome by showing her around the College and accompanied her to Healsville Sanctuary over the weekend they visited. Emilia’s hospitality is an example of the generosity of our students and their families at our College and remind us of the importance of community and community spirit.
