What we’ve been up to at OSHC!
Over the past two weeks we’ve having so much fun at OSHC! For our Harmony Week theme, the children engaged in a number of valuable discussions which celebrated the diversity within our community! During circle time, we read a number of books which explored the theme of Harmony Day and completed some awesome activities! Some of the highlights were painting to cultural music and our Harmony Day display! Check out our pictures below!
Last week our theme was Science Week! The children really enjoyed all things sticky and messy! Our resident expert slime-makers, Georgia A and Raphy in Grade Five helped us to perfect our slime method, creating some incredibly stretchy slime! Developing science skills including reasoning, justifying and predicting, the children had a ball!
Coming up at OSHClub!
This week our theme is ‘Easter’, here are a couple of activities that we have planned:
We look forward to making new friends and learning new things through play and social experiences. As always there will also be a quiet time for homework, relaxation and reading.
Early Finish: Friday 5th of April
We are pleased to inform you that we will be offering an extended After School Care session on Friday 5th of April 2019. Stay tuned for an update on the fun activities we have planned for this session!
The session will run from 1.30pm to 6.00pm at the cost of $46.00 (before any applicable Child Care Subsidy).
