What an inspiring week! Today we celebrated our first Primary assembly where Primary Leaders and House Captains were presented with their badges. What an honour! Congratulations to all recipients.

Our Year 6 Team joined the assembly today in the first step in our transition to a Primary and Secondary model, enabling all our primary students to come together to celebrate their achievements.

Our Preps commenced this week, and what superstars they are. Switched on is the term that comes to mind! Together with Michelle, Sarah and Shannon they will enjoy a learning adventure built on discovery and creativity. Welcome to The Lakes and thank you for your trust in us to fuel your child’s passion for learning.

On the Secondary campus our Performing Arts – MAD students attended the Musical Chicago at the Arts Centre this week , enjoying a fantastic performance and wetting their appetites for a year of creative licence and a school production that we are all looking forward to later in the year.

School Council elections are pending so please see further details in this newsletter and consider contributing in decisions that impact our policies.

Today we say farewell to Amanda Allan who is commencing family leave. We send our best wishes to Amanda, her husband Brenton and Brylie as their family grows.
