Busy weekend last week

The new bus got its first outing on Friday night when staff took students for fish and chips in Bunbury followed by laser tag at Time Zone.

Students were heading to Lake Kepwari in Collie on Saturday for a bit of kayaking until staff discovered that the tyre on the trailer had in fact delaminated. After a quick re think, the BBQ in Collie became a BBQ on the  Bunbury foreshore, with a little bit of body boarding at the Back Beach.

Saturday and Sunday saw students making smalls around the fire pit. Smalls were waffle cone with cookies, chocolate and lollies placed inside the cone, then wrapped in foil and heated by the fire so it all melts into one. I am told they didn’t look that good but they tasted awesome.

Sports

We had the usual sports activities around residence and the local competitions.

The girls' College netball team won a close encounter on Wednesday evening, I am reliably informed they are still to have all players available for the game.

Indoor hockey was the game of choice for Wednesday night sports and it was a hotly contested evening. All in good spirits and lots of fun was had by all. Well done.

Hygiene

Just a reminder to continue best hygiene practices, so we can keep all students and staff as healthy as we can.
